As I posted before, i've been enjoying Donald Miller's latest books, Blue Like Jazz, and Searching for God Knows What. The dude can write. It's one thing to read his stuff, and probably another to hear him. I was in Boston in Febuary, and missed hearing him speak at Harvard by a couple of days.

Today i stumbled accross the website for his home church in Portland, Imago Dei Community. I noticed there was a section with recent sermons by the pastor of the church, Rick , and when i scrolled down, i found a couple of sermons by Mr Miller himself! Some very interesting stuff.

Well, here it is. My very own little domain. I feel like i've crossed some sort of "geek" line. Ah well, i guess there's no turning back now.

My new job has me sitting in front of a computer quite a bit more than my last one, so i'm looking forward to posting a fair bit more than i used to.

I've been a fan of reallivepreacher.com for quite some time now. It's a 'blog' written by an actual "Real Live Preacher" by the name of Gordon Atkinson. He is an excellent writer, and even more than that, he is someone who is able to communicate some amazing things about faith, hope, love and the struggles that are sometimes involved with being a Christian. His stories will make you laugh, and cry and re-evaluate the way you think about and live your life. It truly is an incredible blog that needs to be read. He has also put some of his stories into a book, which is available through his website.

Jevon sent me this link to an audio interview with the Real Live Preacher that was done a few years ago by Christopher Lydon. There is also a link on that page to one of the Preachers stories, which he reads aloud. The interview is excellent, as is the story.
