1. My alarm clock has a snooze button. I've had the same alarm clock for the past 20 years, and i never once used the snooze button. Until about a month ago. Now I'm addicted to that extra couple of minutes of sleep it "allows" me to have. Why oh why did i not discover the wonders of the snooze button years ago?

2. Apparently, i get my hair cut more often than the rest of the male population. Generally i get my hair cut every 4 to 6 weeks, which i thought was normal. My co-workers and other friends have informed me that they generally get their hair cut every two or three months. This is good to know, though I'm sure it won't change my hair cutting habits. As soon as those little feathery wings start to grow on the side of my head, its cutting time.

3. One year ago as of last week i got to cross the top band off my "bands i have to see before i die" list when i saw U2 in concert in Boston. This summer i get to cross off band number two as i have tickets to see Wilco in Halifax in July. Rock.On.  

4. They just don't make wallets like they used to. When i graduated from grade 9 at Stonepark Junior High school many years ago [19 to be exact], my aunt gave me a very nice leather wallet as a gift. I used that same wallet up until April of this year, when it finally started to fall apart. I purchased a new wallet at that time, and it is already falling apart. Piece. Of. Junk.

5. The Social Music Revolution. www.last.fm is one of the coolest website/community ideas I've seen in a while. I'm pretty late in joining the "revolution" on this one as it's been around for a while. It's a very cool way of keeping track of the things you are listening to, as well finding others who like the same music as you. I also like to use it to keep track of what my friends are listening to, so i can make fun of their listening habits. Check out the site, and add me as a friend, my id is speakergeek.
