Last Thursday, the silverorange crew made their way out to UPEI to check out Canadian rock legends Sloan in action at the unfortunately named campus bar. [The Wave]
Montreal boys, The Stills opened the show with a great set. I had never heard these guys before, and was mightily impressed with them. Great sounding band with some very talented musicians.
Sloan put on a great show, despite having to put up with some drunken frat boy types chucking beer at the stage. At one point, it looked like someone in the front row might face the back end of Chris' bass or Jay's guitar, or might actually get stabbed in the head with a drumstick. Those dudes were angry!
