Spin Magazine's Top 10 Albums of past 20 years:
1. "OK Computer," Radiohead
2. "It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back," Public Enemy
3. "Nevermind," Nirvana
4. "Slanted and Enchanted," Pavement
5. "The Queen Is Dead," Smiths
6. "Surfer Rosa," Pixies
7. "3 Feet High and Rising," De La Soul
8. "Sign 'O' the Times," Prince
9. "Rid of Me," PJ Harvey
10. "Straight Outta Compton," N.W.A
A bit of an odd mix. Only 2 albums from the last 10 years. I would have thought Wilco's Yankee Hotel Foxtrot might have made the list. I'm a bit surprised that Nevermind isn't number one, but i think OK Computer is probably the right choice out of the ones listed. It's a great album.
My top 10 of the past 20 years would not be very similar to this. That will be my next post.
