Been on a bit of a Dylan kick lately. I'm in the middle of reading his autobiography, 'Chronicles Volume 1', and am enjoying it immensely. [I just found out that there is an audio version of the book that is read by Sean Penn, which would be very cool to hear.] I've been a Bob Dylan fan since i was in Jr High, which is kinda weird since i was also a huge Poison fan. Luckily Dylan won out, though i still rock out to a little hair metal every now and then.
Girl of The North Country

Anyway, Girl of the North Country is one of my favorite songs, so i thought i would post the lyrics:
Girl of the North Country
Well, if you're travelin' in the north country fair,
Where the winds hit heavy on the borderline,
Remember me to one who lives there.
She once was a true love of mine.
Well, if you go when the snowflakes storm,
When the rivers freeze and summer ends,
Please see if she's wearing a coat so warm,
To keep her from the howlin' winds.
Please see for me if her hair hangs long,
If it rolls and flows all down her breast.
Please see for me if her hair hangs long,
That's the way I remember her best.
I'm a-wonderin' if she remembers me at all.
Many times I've often prayed
In the darkness of my night,
In the brightness of my day.
So if you're travelin' in the north country fair,
Where the winds hit heavy on the borderline,
Remember me to one who lives there.
She once was a true love of mine.
It's a very pretty song. You can hear a short audio clip of it here with Windows Media Player.
