Last weekend a group of friends [including fellow bloggers Ben and Rodney] took part in the "Second Annual Silverorange Frisbee Golf Tournament for Charity". Our team, which we so cleverly named "The Bionic Six", finished close to the top of the pack with an average score of 71.6. Even though the weather was not the greatest, we had a good time on the course at Strathgartney and all told the tourney raised over $1200 for Habitat for Humanity. Kudos to Daniel and all the guys at Silverorange and Goodbasic who put the day together. I have no doubt we'll be back next year! Here is a picture of my incredibly awesome team, aka, "The Bionic Six". Take note of the similarities between us and the actual Bionic Six. It's eerie.
And if you've never played Frisbee Golf, head on out to Strathgartney and give it a try. It's free, and they will even give you a frisbee to use if you don't have one. Great way to spend a couple of hours on a sunny summer day.
